January 18, 2012 Public comment meetings regarding planning for Tryon Creek State Natural Area. We need
equestrians to attend these meetings. The Tryon meeting it at the Tryon Creek Nature Center from 5-7 pm Weds Jan. 18. You can speak up in support of whatever, but we recommend supporting continued
trail access for riders at Tryon Creek as well as an improved entrance and increased parking for all users. If you have questions, I might be able to answer most of them. Stacy

January 19, 2012 Public comment meetings regarding planning Milo McIver State Park taking place this week. We need
equestrians to attend these meetings. The McIver meeting is at the Estacada Public Library on Wade St. from 5-7 Thurs. Jan. 19. You can speak up in support of whatever, At McIver Park, a new horse camp is being proposed, so if you'd like to give some input on that, here's your chance.

January 23, 2012 VVR Family Fun Nights. Canby Arena, Clackamas County Fairgrounds. Warm up 6:30pm, Fun starts at 7:00 pm. Low key riding games and exercises using Pony Club guidelines so that riders can familiarize their horses with leg aids, neck reining techniques, handoffs, pickups, passing, pole bending, and barrels. Warm-up at 6:30pm and activities from 7:00-9:00pm. $10 for members and $15 for guests of members.
